Portable toilets are now becoming popular as time passes. They have many benefits like convenience, privacy, easy to use, and much more. But these toilets also have some disadvantages which are the following

 

This portable toilet normally collects human waste in a holding tank, it utilizes some chemicals to reduce the odors. These toilets are generally movable but this might not be the case always. The structure of this toilet is based on a small tank that needs emptying regularly. These toilets are not connected to any kind of hole underground. Since the waste is in the holding tank, this can cause a smell if the toilet is not regularly cleaned and overused. In some communities, it is considered an ugly looking thing, and the use of this portable toilet is only allowed in case of special permission from the city

 

Another thing is that these toilets do not give access to wheelchairs, so disabled people find it comparatively difficult to use these toilets. Wheelchair accessible toilets are made by companies on special demand by the companies
