Other than being unsanitary for humans, excess disposal of urine or faeces in the bushes or on the ground can cause extreme damage to the environment by affecting water sources and killing plants.

This vicious cycle continues and if not handled would eventually cause illness to humans dwelling in the area and, in severe cases – death.

But, it is important to note that poor sanitation can be dealt with by just placing portable toilet that would to a great extent decrease the level of damage in the environment while providing a conducive atmosphere too.

And so, having the portable toilet strategically placed in some of the African countries, especially sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, save the dwellers from any damage caused by poor sanitation.
